Cozy Café & Restaurant: was established in 2007 as a small local restaurant serving local foods to both locals and tourists. To meet our customers’ requirements for a spacious place with a nice ambience, we moved in to the current location. We are located in the heart of the tourist district of Thamel. We serve the more popular and select Continental, Nepali, and Tibet cuisines. Our staff members are carefully handpicked based on their diligence and experience thereby ensuring that you have the highest standard of personalized service.

We are not a big restaurant. However, it is equipped with well furnished dining room and a bar. Our kitchen meets the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness. We have room enough to house over 50 guests at any given time. The bar boasts of some of the favourite local liquors and other select imported liquors as well as a wide collection of wine.

Meet our Chef Born in the central district of Sindupalchok, Som Shrestha started work in 1992 as a kitchen helper. He did his apprenticeship with some of the well known chef at various hotels and restaurants (ie Hotel Lion, The Shanker Hotel, Restaurant Lajana, Hastu Hana etc). He also worked as the chef’s assistant for three years at the Renaissance & KBR Barghdad, Oman. He has been with us as a Chef since the inception of this restaurant.
